Moulin Rouhaud, Bed and Breakfast in Montboyer
Maryse and Robert welcome you to their family home, a 17th century Charente dwelling originally restored by your hostess's parents. Since then, a lot of decoration work has been done both inside (Maryse's passion for decoration and flea markets) and outside. Robert and Maryse's hobby is gardening! Horticulturists by trade, they found in this very large property material to express themselves and since they retired in southern Charente, they wanted to share their love of gardening with their guests.
Come and discover the south of Charente, at the crossroads between Saintonge and Périgord, not far from Bordeaux, in a landscape of cereal crops, hills, vineyards, forests and ponds with a heritage rich in Romanesque churches and castles. We are in the town of Montboyer, 12km from Aubeterre sur Dronne, 3km from Chalais and 35 minutes from Angoulême, also close to Saint Emilion, Cognac and Bordeaux. Lovers of our region, we will help you discover it! We will be happy to welcome you to our house with 3 bedrooms, a swimming pool and a 3ha park.

Amarante Junior Suite
The Amarante Junior Suite offers you an intimate and refined setting, ideal for a stay combining comfort and relaxation. This charming space has a small cozy lounge area , where you can enjoy a coffee or tea thanks to the machine at your disposal. If you need more space, it is possible to add an extra bed to accommodate an additional person.
The suite's large, elegantly appointed bathroom is equipped with two sinks and a spacious walk-in shower , offering a real feeling of well-being and comfort.
Amarante opens directly onto the garden on the stream side , offering privileged access to nature. You can enjoy a small outdoor lounge nestled in the greenery, a true haven of peace to savor a moment of tranquility in the open air.
Whether you are looking for relaxation or convivial moments, the Amarante Junior Suite is the perfect place to recharge your batteries, while being in harmony with the environment.
The Miller's Room
The "Le Meunier" room is a large and bright suite that offers you a magnificent view of the basin and the river , ideal for relaxing in a peaceful and natural setting. Enjoy the privacy of independent access , guaranteeing calm and serenity.
The bathroom is a real space of well-being, with a spacious walk-in shower and a double sink , ensuring comfort and practicality. The toilets are separate for more convenience. You will also find a courtesy tray in the room, with a coffee machine and a kettle , for a moment of relaxation at any time.
Please note that, to preserve the quality of the waxed parquet floor, pets are not allowed in this room.

Tower Room
Nestled upstairs in the tower of the house, the room "La Tour" offers you an intimate atmosphere and a unique charm. The 160x200 double bed ensures optimal comfort for a restful night's sleep, while the view of the swimming pool invites you to relax.
The room has a small functional bathroom with separate toilet and shower , as well as a beautiful view of the garden to complete this peaceful setting. A courtesy tray with a coffee machine and a teapot is also at your disposal, to enjoy a hot drink at any time of the day.
Please note that, to preserve the integrity of the waxed parquet floor , animals are not allowed in this room.
Ideal for lovers of calm and simplicity, the "La Tour" room is a true haven of peace, perfect for a relaxing stay without distractions (no television).
